I don't even know what to say... Feist is the most refreshing music I have come across in a long time. I don't want to compare them to anything because I wouldn't want the comparison to imply unoriginality. But I will anyway...haha.

Her voice is a combination of Sade, Chrissy Hinde, and Dido and it floats over the light, folky music like an mother's lullaby.

Check out Mushaboom and Lonely, Lonely. Mushaboom has a catchy melody and super cool video. Lonely, Lonely makes you long for something you never knew you were longing for.

Myself attending my first ever Pride Parade as a spectator on one of the hottest days of the year?

Watching perfectly toned and tanned male specimens shake their booties to Cher on the floats that go by?

Seeing all types of communities come together to express their belief in freedom of love? (Did you know there is a Gay Square Dance Club and Gay Bollywood Association?)

Seeing corporate Canada show their support in what they recognize as a legitimate market of citizens who celebrate diversity?

I don't know the answer to that... but I do know that after the 2005 Vancouver Pride Parade my heart is thoroughly warmed.

The messages in advertisements are so blatantly misleading sometimes that it's funny. The latest ads for Ban deodorant show people participating in extreme sports, displaying total self-confidence and living life to the fullest! Want this perfect life? Tired of being self conscious and afraid all the time? Your prayers have been answered! It's as simple as putting this pasty crap under your pits!

I say ban stupid advertising that takes us all for morons.
