I have been seeing a lot more Vespas around my neighborhood lately. What I don't get is, why aren't people buying the electric versions which are just as practical, far more economical, not to mention ecological, for everyday city use? They look just as cool and on top of that, you'll have the satisfying feeling that you are among the first to join the electric vehicle movement (which everyone will need to do sooner rather than later). When are people going to wake up and realize that gas prices are NEVER going to be cheap again, they will only go up. And we can thank all those jerks driving H2's and SUVs (and ourselves for not smartening up sooner).
